About

La Madera School is a one-of-a-kind community of learning. Upon entering our school, students immediately feel welcome and connected. We are a community where students, parents, and staff work together to create a learning environment that encourages excellence and the love of learning.

Academic proficiency for every student is the heart of instruction at La Madera. To achieve this goal, we constantly focus on students’ individual learning needs. We use Professional Learning Community (PLC) teams focused on the Decision Making for Results/Data Team model. Through this model we use student work and performance to enhance our instructional process and improve student performance. In addition to our regular classroom curriculum, we also offer enrichment and after school programs as well as intervention programs throughout the year to strengthen students’ academic skills.

The Parent Teacher Association

Membership in the PTA is open to anyone who believes in the mission and purposes of the National Parent Teacher Association. Individual members may belong to any number of PTAs and pay dues in each. Every person who joins a local PTA automatically becomes a member of both the state and National PTAs.

Together we are a powerful voice for children. With your help, we can continue to work toward PTA's goal of a quality education and nurturing environment for every child.

Every child's potential can become a reality.
